意大利汉学家梅毕娜：中意携手，跨越山海创佳话

51年前，意大利汉学家梅毕娜还只是北京大学的一名普通留学生，有幸来长沙过寒假。时间跨越半个世纪，当再次来到长沙，谈及中国城市翻天覆地的变化与两国之间文化的交流，梅毕娜感受颇多。她说：中意两国都是文化大国，应该携手奋斗。

51 years ago, Italian sinologist Giuseppina Merchionne was just an ordinary overseas student at Peking University. She was fortunate enough to spend her winter vacation in Changsha once. When she visited Changsha again and discussed the earth-shaking changes in Chinese cities and the cultural exchanges between the two countries after half a century, Giuseppina Merchionne was greatly impressed.She said that both China and Italy are countries with rich and long-standing cultures and should work hand in hand.

接受记者采访时，梅毕娜刚刚欣赏完天心阁光影公园的夜景灯光秀和实景演出。在此之前，她马不停蹄走访了岳麓书院、长沙简牍博物馆、马栏山视频文创园等长沙文化地标。“50多年的时间，你们（长沙）的进步、变化真的不能相信（难以置信）。”谈到长沙的印象，梅毕娜毫不掩饰自己的喜爱。

When interviewed by journalists, Giuseppina Merchionne had just enjoyed the night light show and live performance at Tianxing Pavilion. And she has visited cultural landmarks in Changsha such as Yuelu Academy, Changsha Jiandu(Bamboo Slips) Museum, and Malanshan Video Cultural and Creative Park. "The progress and changes in your city (Changsha) over the past 50-plus years are truly unbelievable," she remarked when talking about her impressions of Changsha, making no secret of her love for the city.

作为意大利中国丝绸之路文化交流合作中心主席，梅毕娜非常关注两国文化交流。交流中，她不止一次用到“共聚”一词。她认为文化的共聚能够帮助人们理解不同文化的差异和价值，减少文化误解，增进对其他文化的包容，构建和谐多元的文化环境，“达到（实现）和平”。只有文化共聚，才能实现“生活快乐、人民和平”，为了实现这一目标，“我们要共同努力。”

Giuseppina Merchionne has paid great attention on cultural exchanges between the two countries. During these exchanges, she used the phrase "culture convergence" more than once. She believes that the convergence of cultures can help people understand the differences and values of different cultures, reduce cultural misunderstandings, enhance tolerance for other cultures, and build a harmonious and diverse cultural environment, "to achieve peace". Because culture convergence can lead to a happy life and peace, both of the two countires should work together. 

梅毕娜不仅是意大利中国丝绸之路文化交流合作中心主席、米兰大学汉语及中国文化教授，也是一位热爱和平的汉学家。她曾凭借与中国学者肖云儒合著的《地球之虹》一书获得国家丝路书香工程“外国人写作中国计划”的“杰出创作奖”。这本书，是两位学者关于自己的人生同对方国家之间的深刻联系的谈话，旨在展示中意文化人围绕丝路深度对话，是中意两国人民深厚友谊的见证，也是人类命运共同体理念在现实生活的印证。

Giuseppina Merchionne is not only the chairperson of the Italian-Chinese Silk Road Cultural Exchange and Cooperation Center and a professor of Chinese language and Chinese culture college at the University of Milan, but also a Sinologist who loves peace. She once won the Outstanding Creation Award of the Silk Road Book Project's "Foreigners Writing about China Program" with the book "The Rainbow of the Earth" co-authored with Chinese scholar Xiao Yunru. This book is a conversation between the two scholars about the profound connection between their own lives and that of the other country, and aims to show the in-depth dialogue around the Silk Road among cultural scholars between China and Italy, and also a witness to the profound friendship between China and Italy and a vivid confirmation of the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind.
